So in brief, the goal's to read 11 books in 2008?
Not at all. The goal is to read THOSE books, plus the random others that come my way. I'll probably never manage your 30 in 30 feat, but I'd better be able to beat 11 for the year.
Hmm, I just looked back and see 29 reviews for 2007 (approx.) - there were a few books that I was too embarrassed to review, and 2 more that I'm about to review. But still, seems kind of like a light year for me.
I actually crossed 100 books in 2007. My lightest year since I started keeping track was a bit lighter than yours (only 27 in 2000: that was the year that I walked to work rather than took transit most days).
